| Roses' Popularity | |
The recipient of a long stem rose will always understand the feelings behind such a rose gift as one of uncompromising attraction and admiration. Whether sending a single long stem red rose, or a flower bouquet of 12 long stem roses, every red rose sends the same message to the person receiving them. I adore you beyond words, and as the rose, so you fill my senses! It’s as though mother nature has created through a rose the means to send our feelings whether through a single long stem rose, or as bunches, or as a complete bouquet by proxy when it’s not possible to personally present a rose gift in person. When Mother Nature blooms in the spring, the site of roses send the message of a bright promising day with breathtaking colors, while the air near the bouquet of rose bushes sends out a fragrance that intoxicates with its aroma and beauty. Enthusiasts of roses the world over tending to rose gardens work on invigorating roses through cross breeding and thereby producing exceptional pink roses, white roses, yellow roses, and a range of colored roses that serves as a testament to how caring people working together with nature can produce flowers of exceptional quality.

| Roses in History | |
| Roses have been on earth for millions of years. Originally they were found in the Northern Hemisphere then North America, and finally they were sighted in Africa. As the world’s population grew, so did the popularity of the rose. Rose cultivation in gardens was first developed in China and thereafter in the Middle East. The Romans developed significant rose gardens both to enhance their homes as well as to express their high status in society. Whenever celebrations were held, a rose bowl containing rose petals provided both color and fragrance to the Roman gathering. After the fall of the Roman Empire, roses also lost their vaunted status. Over time, the popularity of the rose ebbed and flowed and eventually it was rediscovered in the use of a wide variety of applications including celebrations both religious and non religious. It also found use in medicine and natural rose based perfumes.

| Roses in Seasons | |
Roses, as strange as it may seem, can communicate the four seasons of the year and can be associated with our own emotions. In the springtime, rose blossoms promote romantic emotions and many times their message can be felt throughout the year, especially when sending valentine roses on Valentine's Day. Summertime is associated with yellow roses that bring happiness, joy and spiritual enlightenment to our psychological and physiological well being. Pink roses are associated with change. Thus, autumn, a season of change is well represented by the peach and pink rose blossom. The white roses on the other hand is associated with the purity of the magic of winter snows that are brought to the land. Representing innocence and purity, the season with its picturesque snowfalls is captured through the gentle innocence of white roses. As autumn ends and winter begins the rose flower withers; the rose bush goes to sleep through hibernation but is soon revived by the light and warmth that spring with all its splendor revives. So remember, saying your feelings with any colored rose, rose bouquets, or just a single long stem red rose, no other flower sends as much promise and excitement as are infused in a gift of roses.
